Tim Boyce attended theUniversity of Miami and Berklee College of Music where he studied and played with Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius and many others who influenced his early years. He later formed Line Drive with Gary Dates and Chris Plunkett in the early 80’s during the “Fusion” heyday. Tim also associated with such notable artists as Jeremy Wall, Fort Apache Band, and Hiram Bullock. Heavily influenced by Jeff Beck, Tim’s extensive harmonic training coupled with his experience alongside some of the most influential contemporary musicians, has enabled him to forge a unique style on the guitar, as well as composition. His playing combines a mixture of Rock Jazz and R&B in a contemporary format.
